Not at all! We welcome makers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced professionals. Many members join specifically to learn new skills, and our community is always happy to help newcomers get started.
We require safety training for certain equipment like the laser cutter, CNC machines, and welding stations. Training sessions are held regularly and are free for members. For other tools, experienced members are usually around to show you the ropes.
Yes! Standard members get 2 guest passes per month, and Pro members have unlimited guest access. Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times and sign a liability waiver. It's a great way to introduce friends to the space.
You can cancel your membership at any time with no cancellation fees. Just give us 30 days notice before your next billing date. We hope you'll stay, but we understand circumstances change.
Yes, many of our members run small businesses or do freelance work using our equipment. Our Pro tier is designed specifically for business use, including the ability to use our address for your business and priority equipment access during busy times.
We maintain a materials library with common supplies available for purchase (wood, acrylic, filament, etc.) at cost or slightly above. For specialized projects, you'll need to bring your own materials. We can help you source materials if needed.
